It all starts with New Zealand Wool
Woolen Outer-Shell is 80% knitted Lambs-wool from New Zealand, blended with 20% Nylon. While the Nylon provides added strength the Wool is the real story. Wool provides warmth, durability, resists soiling and is naturally water repellent. Wool is a renewable resource and involves a natural growth process of converting grass into fiber in pollution free factories - New Zealand farms.
Lining is 100% micro fleece. Soft and comfortable against the skin.
Magic in the Middle Bonded in-between the Outer-Shell and Lining layers is a very effective windproof/water-resistant membrane. You have to wear it to believe it. Have you ever been out in a fleece jacket but then the wind comes up and brings a bit of rain with it? Wear the Timaru Jacket and the problem is solved - you’ll stay warm and dry. It truly is the perfect jacket for the Pacific Northwest. Pretty good for the Midwest and Northeast as well!
